Όπως είπαμε τα Parnelli Awards απονέμονται από το 2001 και αφορούν την αμερικάνικη αγορά και την Live βιομηχανία των ΗΠΑ όσον αφορά τις rental εταιρίες και τους τεχνικούς. Βεβαίως απονέμονται και βραβεία Parnelli σε κατασκευαστές αναγνωρίζοντας έτσι τις πραγματικά πρωτοποριακές τεχνολογίες σε ήχο, φωτισμό και εικόνα. Ολη η διαδικασία των υποψηφιοτήτων, των ψηφοφοριών και βεβαίως της απονομής, των Parnelli Awards διοργανώνονται από τα περιοδικά PLSN and FRONT of HOUSE. Από τους αμερικανούς θεωρούνται ως τα "Oscar" της Live Event βιομηχανίας.
